Information about the coronavirus

This page was last updated on November 4th, 2020 at 8 pm.

After having closed the indoor exhibitions and the Design Shop during the weekend October 30th to November 1st, due to the revised general advice for corona, we have taken further steps to minimize the risk of spreading among visitors.

As of Thursday November 5th, Artipelag will be open as previously. However, we limit the number of visitors in our exhibition halls. Same applies to the Design Shop where we in addition will have separate entrance and exit to avoid groups of visitors colliding.

The exhibition Jan Håfström – The White Bus, showing in the Artbox and scheduled to close on November 1st, will continue to be open. Regrettable, the interactive performance Vanmakt by Alexander Ekman scheduled to follow will thus be postponed due to corona. In Bådan Café & Pâtisserie the tables have ample spacing as well as markings on the floor to avoid congestion when queuing. If you have any questions, please contact us via

Open indoors

As of June 25th, 2020, we re-open the exhibitions Signature Women – 100 years on the Swedish art scene and Jan Håfström – The White Bus, Bådan Café & Pâtisserie and the Design Shop. We are open Thursday to Sunday.

At Artipelag we take a holistic view on well-being, including both man and nature. We protect our fellow human beings as well as their health and we are uncompromising when it comes to safety. Prior to the re-opening, we follow the directives and recommendations from the Public Health Authority in order to make a visit to Artipelag as safe as possible.

We encourage our visitors to enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise and enjoy the nature with the sculpture park.
