Adolf Fredrik’s Music Classes will perform a traditional Lucia celebration to add to the festive spirit.
  3. I Follow the Sun
Brighten up the winter darkness with over 100 sunflower motifs by 29 artists. The exhibition I Follow the Sun examines the different portrayals of the sunflower in paintings, sculptures and photographs from 1889 to today. Well-known Nordic artists, including Carl Larsson, Lena Cronqvist, Elina Brotherus and Michael Ancher, are shown alongside international icons such as Emil Nolde, Ai Weiwei and Anselm Kiefer, all of whom have approached the sunflower from a wide variety of artistic and conceptual angles.
  4. Imagine Van Gogh
Step into Van Gogh’s magnificent universe and immerse yourself in his iconic works, projected onto walls, floors, and screens within Artipelag’s spectacular Artbox. Spanning 1,200 square metres, this venue provides a breathtaking setting, enhanced by classical music from Mozart, Bach, and Satie. Visitors have described this artistic experience as profoundly moving for both heart and mind.
  5. Sculpture in Nature
Enjoy a serene winter walk along Artipelag’s boardwalk, which stretches through pine forests and over cliffs, while taking in the outdoor exhibition Sculpture in Nature. The artworks can be seen along the walking paths in the surrounding forests and meadows, along the seashore, on the jetty and the headland.
