Wireless Networks at Artipelag

Artipelag has a guest network that visitors can use, free of charge, to a limit of 25 Mbit per user. This network supports all standard connection devices and is meant for low-bandwidth tasks like downloading your email or surfing the web.

For events or conferences, your own wireless network with custom business name and higher access speed can be provided for an additional charge.

Internet access is via fiberoptic connection and our ISP is Telia. The connection speed is 200/200 Mbit.

In the Artbox, the wireless network is reinforced to withstand up to 300 concurrent users. This number includes both the guest network and any hired private network.

In the studio, about 50 concurrent users may use the guest network. If you instead choose to rent your own wireless network with a higher speed, this number is reduced to 25-30 simultaneous users.

At larger events where the customer has special requirements for connecting to the Internet, the IT department will be involved to help develop a suitable solution.
