Starting from Wednesday, September 11, Artipelag will have late opening hours until 7:00 PM on Wednesdays.
Artipelag is completely closed to the public a few days a year, outdoors and indoors.

How to get to Artipelag
SL bus from Slussen
Take bus 474 from Slussen towards Hemmesta or Mölnvik and get off at Värmdö marknad bus stop. From there you will take the connecting bus 468 towards Hålludden, departing from the opposite side of the road. Get off at Hålludden bus stop. Kindly plan your journey to match the buses by using the SL travel planner.
From Värmdö marknad you can also walk to Artipelag. The distance is approximately 3,5 km. Follow the road from Coop and INGO petrol station and then follow the directions to Artipelag.
SL bus from Medborgarplatsen
Take bus 423 from Medborgarplatsen (Götgatan 59) and get off at Hålluddens trafikplats. From here the walking distance is 1,5 km to the main entrance of Artipelag (kindly note that bus 423 only operates on weekday afternoons.)
From Stockholm
Take the motorway 222 towards Gustavsberg and follow the directions to Hålludden/Artipelag.
From Värmdö/Ingarö
Take the freeway 222 towards Stockholm, take the exit Värmdö marknad and then take the right on Ingarövägen. Turn left in the roundabout at COOP and thereafter follow directions towards Artipelag. From Gustavsberg, turn right in the roundabout by COOP at Värmdö Marknad and thereafter follow directions.
Parking
There are 350 parking spaces distributed across four car parks: Björn, Lillemor, Josefin, and Tony. Disabled parking permit holders can park for free in all car parks but must register at the reception at Artipelag.
Charging posts
Five charging stations are available in the Tony car park. Parking is only allowed while charging and for a maximum of three hours. It costs 3.5 SEK per kWh plus 35 SEK per hour for parking. Payment and charging are only possible via Easypark.
Prices & Payment
Parking at any of Artipelag’s car parks (Lillemor, Björn, Josefin, and Tony) costs 35 SEK per hour for up to 3 hours, after which it is free.
We use the EasyPark system for payment, and we recommend that you download their mobile app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Parking is registered via a parking camera at entry and exit.
If you do not pay via EasyPark, an invoice for the amount due plus an invoicing fee will be sent through Svea Ekonomi.

It is possible to cycle to Artipelag from Stockholm. The bicycle route from Slussen is approximately 25 kilometres and it takes less than 2 hours if you keep a steady pace.
Almost the entire cycle path is separated from car traffic, and several sections run near water and through greenery.
Once at Artipelag you can lock your bicycle to the bike racks.

For visitors arriving to Artipelag by their own boats we offer a guest harbour consisting of 25 berths with Y-booms. Visitors to Artipelag may dock their boats up to 24 hours. Please note that services like electricity, garbage collection or restrooms are not available.
The berths have a width of between 2,5m up to 5,3 m. The outer length measures approximately 100 m and is well suited for larger boats.

The taxi company Gustavsberg Taxi offers a fixed price from Artipelag.

Boat taxi
Vision of Stockholm offer regular tours from Nybroviken in Stockholm to Artipelag.
The boat trips to Artipelag operate during spring, summer, and early autumn.
The boat service has ended for the season but will resume in spring 2025.
Admission fees
Entry to the building and access to our public areas, such as Bådan Café & Pâtisserie, Artipelag Restaurant, and The Design Shop, as well as walks in our beautiful natural surroundings, are free of charge. We have cash-free cash registers.
