Semla fika at Artipelag!

Semla season has begun
January 24 – February 28, 2026

Bådan Café & Konditori’s much-loved semlor are back – a popular Swedish pastry consisting of a wheat bun with almond filling and whipped cream – baked from scratch in our own bakery and patisserie.

The wheat bun is made with organic flour and delicately flavoured with coarsely ground cardamom. The almond paste is enriched with roasted almonds, extra cardamom, and a hint of konjac, giving it a unique character. Topped with whipped cream and a lid dusted with powdered sugar, the result is everything one could wish for in a classic Swedish semla.

Semlor will be available throughout February, but you can enjoy one already on 24–25 and 31 January, as Artipelag kicks off the season a little early.
