About the Guided Tour
Artipelag on Hålludden was established on the initiative of Lillemor and Björn Jakobson, founders of the well-known company BabyBjörn. The idea behind Artipelag was to create a destination where various experiences within art and culture could interact, with the archipelago being present in everything. Or, as Lillemor and Björn put it, "Artipelag was founded to give something back to this wonderful country!"
With Björn's great love for the archipelago combined with Lillemor's background and immense talent in art, the idea of an art gallery by the water was born, where the experience of nature, architecture, and art could blend.
Welcome to join a tour and hear the story, from the first idea, about the architect Johan Nyrén and about Artipelag, which became his final work, as well as selected artworks from our permanent outdoor exhibition Sculpture in Nature.
