INFORMATION ABOUT MIAGI, MUSIC IS A GREAT INVESTMENT
The language of music is universal – it strengthens both the individual as well as society and builds on relationships between people, regardless of ethnic background or social class.
The South African educational organization MIAGI, along with its orchestra including about 80 classically trained young musicians, is on its third European tour. During 2013, MIAGI successfully collaborated in a SIDA project with Fryshuset and Lilla Akademien and would now like to continue working with Sweden.
The tour will last approximately one month and the finale will be at the famous Concertgebouw Amsterdam in conjunction with the INTERNATIONAL MANDELA DAY JULY 18. The tour also celebrates the 20th anniversary of democracy in South Africa.
