An excursion in Artipelag's surrounding nature offers both forestry, seaside views, meadows and art.

Experience tranquil nature walks along the wooden boardwalk, which meanders a rocky shoreline. The path offers stunning views of a vast body of water and distant tree-lined hills on a clear day, with a solitary tree standing gracefully to the left.

About the Activity

The idea behind Artipelag was to create a destination where art and culture could interact, and where the archipelago would be present throughout. Artipelag invites you enjoy a peaceful stroll along the boardwalk and forest paths to experience both nature and art from the permanent exhibition Sculpture in nature.

Boardwalk
A wide wooden boardwalk, made of larchwood, stretch over 1 km of terrain from the lower parking areas, via the boat landing dock, and up to the building’s west entrance.

Nature trails
The nature trails are about 2 km long and runs through the different environments surrounding Artipelag.
