This spring, Artipelag presents a solo exhibition by Fredrik Wretman, one of Sweden’s most distinctive contemporary artists. Born in 1953 in Stockholm, Wretman divides his time between his hometown and Chiang Mai, Thailand – two environments that influence his practice in different ways.
About the exhibition
The exhibition features a large-scale installation consisting of more than a hundred bronze sculptures, created through an intuitive and playful yet precise approach.
The exhibition has been produced by the artist in dialogue with Artipelag’s art department and runs concurrently with Apichaya Wanthiang’s solo exhibition during the same period.
