Terms and Conditions 

These terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer, purchase electronic tickets to Artipelag ("entry tickets") via the website www.artipelag.se. You enter into a contract with Artipelag AB, org, by purchasing. no. 556691-1524 (hereafter referred to as "Artipelag"), you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. A purchase is binding only when Artipelag or its partner (iTicket) sends a confirmation to you via email. We recommend you save the confirmation for further contact with Artipelag regarding your purchase. The confirmation includes the electronic ticket, which also works as a receipt for the completed purchase. Artipelag does not enter into contracts with minors (under 18 years) without the consent of a guardian. By accepting these terms and conditions, you guarantee that you are at least 18 years old (or have the permission of a guardian to make the purchase) and that you accept these terms and conditions. Artipelag may, at its discretion, in some instances, refuse or amend your purchase if, for example, you provide incorrect personal information.

Refund and Right of Withdrawal 

Please note that the law (2005:59) on distance contracts and agreements outside business premises and its provisions on the right of withdrawal do not apply to ticket purchases under these terms and conditions since they pertain to a cultural event where the provider is to deliver the service on a specific day or during a specific period.

Entry Ticket to Art Exhibition/Art Experience in Artbox 
Artipelag offers its customers refunds for a date/time-specific entry ticket to an art exhibition/art experience in Artbox, provided that the guest cancels their entry ticket online at least 24 hours before the ticket start time. Entry tickets purchased less than 24 hours before such an entry ticket starts are not refundable. Notwithstanding the above, customers have the right to a refund in cases where the customer has symptoms of illness, which can be demonstrated by presenting a medical certificate or equivalent certificate (e.g., a positive Covid-19 test). Refunds will be made using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Ticket for Concert/Performance 
Artipelag offers its customers refunds for tickets to concerts/performances provided that the guest cancels their ticket online at least 14 days before the concert/performance begins. Tickets purchased less than 14 days before the concert/performance begins are not refundable. Notwithstanding the above, customers have the right to a refund in cases where the customer has symptoms of illness, which can be demonstrated by presenting a medical certificate or equivalent certificate (e.g., a positive Covid-19 test). Refunds will be made using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Validity Period 

Art Experiences in the Artbox are time-controlled.
Your ticket is valid for entry for 30 minutes. The ticket becomes active 15 minutes before the designated time and is valid for entry 15 minutes after the designated time. If you arrive after the ticket's registration period of 30 minutes, we cannot guarantee space will be available.

Other Tickets 
The ticket is valid for the day/time the exhibition/performance takes place.
We reserve the right to price increases, VAT adjustments, typographical errors, sold-out items, inventory errors, etc. A ticket or item that has already been sent to you is not affected by any price increase or price reduction that occurs after the order has been placed, such as during sales, promotions, discount codes, or price changes.

Force Majeure 

Artipelag has the right to cancel entry tickets without any obligation to compensate or other liability towards the customer for errors or delays and is exempt from penalty for failure to fulfil its obligations if it is due to circumstances beyond Artipelag's control and which Artipelag could not reasonably have foreseen at the time the contract was entered into or could reasonably have avoided or overcome. The above includes legal acts, government actions, war, terrorism, sabotage, strike, lockout, blockade, pandemic, flood, fire, accident, or other similar circumstances beyond Artipelag's control that prevent, hinder, or delay Artipelag from fulfilling its obligations. The above exceptions regarding strike, lockout, boycott, and blockade also apply if Artipelag undertakes or is subject to such action. In addition to the above, Artipelag disclaims all responsibility if the government or authorities, due to Covid-19, prevent the spread of infection or similar situations through restrictions or recommendations, prevent or hinder Artipelag from fulfilling its obligations. In such a situation, Artipelag undertakes, as far as possible, to compensate the customer in the form of a refund or replacement tickets to the museum or equivalent service/event. However, the customer accepts that Artipelag, by accepting these general terms and conditions, may decide not to pay any refund or compensation to the customer.

Purchases that Violate Established Terms 

Artipelag reserves the right to cancel a booking or purchase and to close a customer account with immediate effect if you, as a ticket purchaser, do not provide accurate information about yourself or otherwise violate or attempt to circumvent Artipelag's terms at the time of ticket purchase. This applies, for example, if you book or purchase more tickets than allowed or buy tickets for commercial use, including but not limited to the resale of tickets. In the event of cancellation for such a reason, the paid service fee or any distribution fees are not refunded. Artipelag may also decide not to refund the paid ticket price. You are responsible for keeping your user ID and password secure so no unauthorized person can access the information.

Personal Use 

Tickets may only be purchased for personal use and may not be used for commercial purposes. This means that the ticket may not be resold or offered in competitions or in connection with offers of other products or services without written permission from Artipelag. Resale (or suspicion of attempts at resale) at a higher price than stated on the ticket gives grounds for seizure or cancellation of tickets. In the event of cancellation for such a reason, no paid service fee, distribution fee, or delivery fee is refunded. Artipelag may decide that the ticket price paid for the booking/purchase will not be refunded.

Your Personal Data 

To fulfil agreements when purchasing e-tickets, we process data regarding the name, contact details, payment, and purchase information. The data is stored until the purchase has been completed, including payment and delivery. Thereafter, to be able to contact you in connection with your purchase and visit with us with information before, during, and after your visit as well as other information about Artipelag.
