To get to Artipelag
Artipelag is an international meeting point for art, good food, events and activities – beautifully situated in the Stockholm archipelago, on Artipelagstigen 1, only 30 minutes from the city.
We have a bus service that operates between Cityterminalen and Artipelag on Saturdays and Sundays.
SL bus from Slussen
Take bus 474 from Slussen towards Hemmesta or Mölnvik and get off at Värmdö marknad bus stop. From there you will take the connecting bus 468 towards Hålludden, departing from the opposite side of the road. Get off at Hålludden bus stop. Kindly plan your journey to match the buses by using the SL traveling planning tool.
From Värmdö marknad you can also walk to Artipelag. The distance is approximately 3,5 km. Follow the road from Coop and INGO petrol station and then follow the directions to Artipelag.
SL bus from Medborgarplatsen
Take bus 423 from Medborgarplatsen (Götgatan 59) and get off at Hålluddens trafikplats. From here the walking distance is 1,5 km to the main entrance of Artipelag (kindly note that bus 423 only operates on weekday afternoons.)
From Stockholm
Take the motorway 222 towards Gustavsberg and follow the directions to Hålludden/Artipelag.
From Värmdö/Ingarö
Take the freeway 222 towards Stockholm, take the exit Värmdö marknad and then take the right on Ingarövägen. Turn left in the roundabout at COOP and thereafter follow directions towards Artipelag. From Gustavsberg, turn right in the roundabout by COOP at Värmdö Marknad and thereafter follow directions.
Parking
350 parking spaces are divided between four parking lots. Disabled parking spaces are free of charge and found both at parking lot Lillemor by the entrance to the beach walk and at parking lot Tony, closest to the facility.
Charging posts
Five charging posts are available at parking lot Tony. It costs SEK 45 per hour to charge (including parking) and charging can be done for a maximum of three hours at a time. Charging is started and paid for in the EasyPark app.
Payment
For parking payments we use the system EasyPark and recommend that you download their mobile app in either the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Payments for parking can also be made at the information desk by giving the registration number of the car. After payment in the information desk your parking is confirmed in our system with no need to return to the car.

It is possible to travel to Artipelag from Stockholm by bicycle. The bicycle route from Slussen is approximately 25 kilometres and duration less than 2 hours if you keep a steady pace.
Almost the entire cycle path is separated from car traffic and several sections run near water and through greenery.
Once at Artipelag you can lock the bicycle to racks.

The regular tours for 2022 are now over. Preliminary start for the tours next season is during May 2023.
Join a scenic boat trip to Artipelag onboard Strömma Kanalbolaget’s turn-of-the-century ship M/S Gustafsberg VII. The journey begins at Nybrokajen and goes through Skurusundet’s and Baggensstäket’s narrow passages.
For visitors arriving to Artipelag by their own boats we offer a guest harbour consisting of 25 berths with Y-booms. Visitors to Artipelag may dock their boats up to 24 hours. Please note that services like electricity, garbage collection or restrooms are not available.
The berths have a width of between 2,5m up to 5,3 m. The outer length measures approximately 100 m and is well suited for larger boats.

We also offer docking for kayaks as well and embarkation areas.

Taxi company Gustavsberg Taxi offers a fixed price from Artipelag.

Vision of Stockholm regularly offer rides from Nybroviken in Stockholm to Artipelag.
Entrance fees
It is free of charge to enter the building and to visit our public areas like our café, the design shop or to take a walk in our lovely nature. We have cash-free cash registers.
Entrance fees to Anselm Kiefer – Essence-Eksistence and Sculpture in Nature can be seen on each exhibition's page.
It is always cheaper with an Art.Pass.
