The Swedish Music Publishers Award 2023

On November 10, 2023, Musikförläggarnas Pris (the Swedish Music Publishers Award) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand event at Artipelag. This prestigious award honours Swedish songwriters, composers, and lyricists. For this special occasion, the event welcomed no fewer than 570 guests who utilised the venue's full capacity.

Guests arrived by coach from central Stockholm and were greeted with a welcome drink in the entrance hall, followed by red-carpet photography against a five-metre-long photo wall. The evening continued in Artipelag's Artbox, where the main gala occurred. A three-course lunch was served, accompanied by musical performances and an awards ceremony on stage. Performers included Peg Parnevik, Lasse Holm, and Fatima Jelassi.

After the gala concluded, the celebration continued in the foyer and across other areas of the venue, including a unique setup where a DJ booth was placed in Artipelag's exclusive restroom. Several bars were stationed throughout the venue, serving drinks and canapés throughout the evening. Near midnight, guests departed by bus, returning to central Stockholm to continue the festivities.

The Swedish Music Publishers Association reserved Artipelag exclusively for this extraordinary event.
